BFI: Victorian Film
An Introduction to Victorian Film
Film lecturer Nick Scudamore will take you on a three-part journey through time to explore the pioneering Victorians.
Recorded at the BFI on the Southbank in London, you can now revisit this session which was facilitated live by a team of experts from the British Film Institute.

And even before the French Lumière brothers presented their first demonstrations in London in 1895, British filmmakers were beginning to make their mark.
